Connor Storrie has a lot of supporters within the Heated Rivalry fanbase, but he considers his parents at the top of the list.

The actor, who is making his Saturday Night Live debut on Feb. 28, was born in Colorado and raised in Texas by his mom and dad, as he shared on the Shut Up Evan podcast in December 2025.

Although he has not revealed their names publicly, Storrie has opened up about their influence in getting him to where he is today.

"My mom is my number one supporter," he said during a January 2026 appearance on Today. "My family's crazy. From a young age, when I was like, 'I wanna be in movies' and stuff, they were like, 'Yeah, go do it!' "

He also touched on their response to his rise to fame starring as Ilya Rozanov in the LGBTQ+ romance hockey show, saying, "They've always believed in me, and I think it's probably pretty surreal to watch things like this happen."

As for his dad's reaction to the steamy series, Storrie said that he "hasn't seen it, and I'm not asking him to see it."

Here's everything to know about Connor Storrie's parents.

Storrie was primarily raised in Odessa, Texas, a town he described to GQ in December 2025 as "high desert, super flat, super dry, kind of white trash, which I love."

While speaking to Vanity Fair that same month, he said his family "did not live in the best part of town," but he spent his time learning how to act at a performing arts school.

"There was a push to help these neighborhoods where there was either crime or there was a significant amount of violence or poverty; they were trying to give all of us a break from that and were like, ‘Go tap dance or something,' " Storrie said.

He recalled to GQ that he and his family frequently moved around, but his desire to be an actor was steadfast.

"I wanted to be an actor as long as I can remember. My mom says that it’s one of the first coherent sentences I said. I was like, 'I’m going to be in movies,' " he recalled.

By the time Storrie reached high school, his parents had already gone their separate ways, per GQ.

While the actor hasn't revealed further details about his parents' split, he joked about "divorced dad movies" during a January 2026 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

"If you come from a divorced family, divorced dads have the most raunchy, irreverent comedies that 7 year olds should not be watching," he said. "And Blades of Glory was one of those for me."

They have had various jobs throughout their careers

Storrie told GQ that both of his parents worked in the mortgage industry before the housing market crash.

Then, his mom began managing buildings for dementia and Alzheimer's patients, while his dad started doing land deals for oil companies.

According to the outlet, they were also both bodybuilders.

Storrie's mom felt like her "calling in life" was to support his career

During a January 2026 conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Storrie got emotional as he spoke about what his rise to fame has meant to his mom, recalling her telling him she feels "a sense of relief myself."

"She said, 'I feel this almost weight lifted off of me, or a sense of relief,' because she feels like part of her purpose in life, or her life journey, or her calling was to support me in this," he said.

That same day, the actor told Extra that his parents are "very chill" and "have always been super supportive."

"They love me and they're like, 'Go for it boy. Do it,' " he recounted of taking on the steamy role in Heated Rivalry.
