Bruno Mars has nothing but "love" for Taylor Swift.
Hours after rumors about Mars liking a shady post about Swift made the rounds on social media, the "Grenade" singer decided to set the record straight, writing in a March 15 X post that "Taylor has always been supportive and kind to me."
"Only love over here," Mars added.
Pop Flop, an entertainment news aggregator, parroted the rumor, which said fans took note of Mars liking an Instagram reel that called Swift "talentless." Pop Flop's X post has garnered over 2 million views since it was first shared.

A screen recording of the reel shared by Pop Faction shows "Bruno Mars" seemingly like an X post that asked "Genuinely, how did she get famous?" accompanied by a video of Swift dancing on the Eras Tour.
"White privilege is crazy because imagine if an Asian was as talentless as her," the post read.

Did Bruno Mars really call Taylor Swift 'talentless?'
While the name and profile picture attached to the user resemble details on Mars' official profile, USA TODAY could not independently verify that the real Mars liked the shady reel about Swift.
According to a screen recording shared by Pop Faction, the post in question called Swift "talentless," a dig some fans thought reflected Mars' personal opinion because he "liked" it.

The origin of the post and the post's author could not be independently verified by USA TODAY.
It's likely that the shady post about Swift was falsely credited to the official X account of South Korean boy band BTS, who seemingly "penned" the post. The post was not found among other recent posts shared by the group on their social media.
