For her 45th birthday, Jessica Alba reflected on the life she's built with her loved ones
In a post on Instagram, she thanked her children, partner Danny Ramirez, and close friends for their love and support
"I'm walking into this next year with more grace, more joy, more gratitude, and a deeper love for the people who make my life mine," she wrote
Jessica Alba is celebrating another trip around the sun.
On her birthday on April 28, the actress reflected on the life she's built over her 45 years in an introspective post on Instagram. Alba compiled glimpses from her birthday this year, photos from her childhood and a selection of meaningful quotes to mark the milestone.
"This past year was a beautiful one. The kind that stretches you in all the right ways, opens you up, and shows you just how much love and light you're surrounded by," she wrote in the caption. "I'm walking into this next year with more grace, more joy, more gratitude, and a deeper love for the people who make my life mine."
She went on to thank her "soul sisters," her "love" — presumably her partner of nearly a year, Danny Ramirez — and her three children, who she shares with estranged husband Cash Warren.
In a video from her birthday celebration included in the post, Alba highlighted her kids Honor, Haven and Hayes as one of the most valuable parts of her life. "If I was blessed with anything by God, it was these incredible human beings," she said.

In her post, Alba also shared four throwback photos from her childhood: a photo of herself as a baby, two of herself at an elementary school age, and one from her teenage years.
"Sitting here today with a heart full of gratitude for where I am, and so much excitement for all the magic still ahead. To that little girl in these photos - I love you so much. This life turned out bigger and fuller than we ever could've dreamed," Alba concluded her post.

Ramirez honored Alba in a series of snaps on his Instagram stories. In a photo of him kissing Alba on the cheek during a glamorous night out, he wrote "Happy birthday mi amor ❤️," followed by additional snaps of them enjoying more casual moments together.
