Kylie Jenner gave the polarizing micro bangs trend a retro twist.
The cosmetics maven showed off a bombshell-coded hair transformation while posing in blush pink lingerie on August 14.
Jenner also shared a glimpse of a tropical vacation she’s taking for her 29th birthday.
Just days after celebrating her 29th birthday, Kylie Jenner was still basking in her main character energy moment as she showed off a retro bombshell-coded transformation. In a photo dump shared on August 14, the beauty mogul stripped down to Old Hollywood-esque lingerie while debuting a screen siren-approved twist on a controversial bangs trend.

While promoting Kylie Cosmetics’s new plumping matte lip kit, Jenner took inspiration from decades past as she tapped into her inner femme fatale. Unlike the sleek waist-grazing black hair and hot pink latex dress she donned for her princess kitty birthday celebration, the Khy designer embraced the polarizing micro bang trend—albeit with an old time update.
Jenner’s black hair and blunt front bangs were curled, framing her face with tightly-coiled ringlets. The star’s full fringe hit an inch above her eyebrows, complementing her shimmering brown and pink smoky eyeshadow, rose pink blush, and mauve pout.

Jenner, who could be seen blowing a light pink bubble with her gum, also shared different angles of her plunging light pink bra, which was trimmed with black lace along the low-cut neckline and as an accent on her band. She kept the vintage theme going with a matching lingerie slip skirt, which hit just below her knees, and a pair of towering light pink sandal heels.

Jenner appears to currently be keeping the birthday festivities going with a tropical getaway, as she shared Instagram Stories of her wearing a colorful flower lei and sipping on a coconut emblazoned with the words “Happy Birthday Kylie” on it on Friday. She also shared a scenic photo of a bright blue ocean and a white sand beach, captioning it, “Most magical bday trip.”
However, the maven wasn’t too busy to strip down to her birthday suit, going completely au natural except for a pair of metallic silver strappy sandal heels for a Gia Borghini collaboration with Khy. Ahead of the collection’s August 21 release date, Jenner posed naked in a few of the new shoe styles, using her butt-length straight black hair as strategic coverage in the NSFW photos.
