Nicole Kidman admitted she has a signature “rave” disguise that she puts on when going clubbing with her friends.
The Practical Magic actress revealed she’s been enjoying her nights out while having her best “Euro summer” in an interview with British Vogue.
Kidman previously shared that she “[likes] a rave” in 2024, joking, “I’m an extreme person.”
As Nicole Kidman leans into her ultimate “Euro summer,” she’s embraced an unexpected evening pastime: clubbing. In a new interview with British Vogue published on August 13, the Practical Magic 2 actress admitted she has a go-to “rave” disguise that she dons to go dancing with her friends.

Since finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Keith Urban in January, the newly-single star revealed she’s been jet-setting through international hot spots like “London, Ibiza, Paris, Portofino,” and Mykonos in “stealth” mode. Kidman likes to end her sun-soaked days in one of two very different ways: “It’s a small dinner party or it’s a rave,” she told the publication, laughing. “I’m either playing Scrabble or I’m out. It’s that simple.”

Kidman, who revealed she’s “good at slipping in and slipping out of everywhere,” relies on the same chameleon-like ability that’s made her a screen icon during her nights out in famed party destinations. “Dinner at 10:30 p.m., club at 1 a.m. I’ll put on glasses. Sometimes I’ll wear a wig to hide, a little dark wig, and then I can just dance,” she confessed. “As long as I’m surrounded by people, like, I take people with me, then I’m fine. I need it.”

Kidman’s penchant for clubbing might come as a surprise to some fans. As the ultimate “365” party girl, Charli XCX, put it to British Vogue, “She’s one of our last truly legendary movie stars. She came to my show in New York when I was on the Brat tour. I couldn’t believe she came. Like, the Nicole Kidman is at my show… what the fuck?”
However, it might not be that surprising that Kidman is having her own Brat summer. A few years ago, the 59-year-old star revealed she’s a “party person” amid promotions for 2024’s Babygirl, in which her CEO character famously lets loose at a rave with her intern love interest (played by Harris Dickinson).
“I’m a small party person, but I do like a rave,” Kidman shared while attending the 2024 GQ Men of the Year event. In response to her interviewer’s seeming disbelief, she doubled down, joking, “I told you, I’m an extreme person.”
