Sydney Sweeney is already reprising her role as a duplicitous housemaid in the sequel to her 2025 box office hit!

The Euphoria actress, 29, was photographed filming scenes alongside Michele Morrone in Hoboken, N.J., for The Housemaid’s Secret, the sequel to The Housemaid. The original movie follows Sweeney as Millie, an ex-convict who finds work as a housekeeper for a rich couple, Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar). However, after facing abuse from Nina and falling for Andrew, Millie discovers a much more nefarious plot at play that ends in Andrew’s death.

Now, Sweeney is returning to the character from Freida McFadden’s novels alongside Morrone, 36, as Enzo, Nina’s groundskeeper and confidant. In the photos, Enzo kisses Millie’s forehead and the two appear to be engaging in serious conversation.

While Morrone is sporting a brown leather jacket with a light pink shirt underneath and jeans, Sweeney is in a more casual look in a denim jacket over a black tee and brown pants.

The Housemaid’s Secret started shooting this month, less than a year after its predecessor overperformed at the box office, grossing over $400 million against a $35 million budget. Less than a month after the movie’s release, Lionsgate confirmed that it would adapt the 2023 sequel, with Sweeney and Morrone set to reprise their roles.

Paul Feig is also set to return as director, and Sweeney and McFadden are back as executive producers. In March, Kirsten Dunstjoined the movie’s cast in an undisclosed role, and in June it was announced that Love Story’s Paul Anthony Kellywill play Douglas Garrick.

Further casting announcements came in August as Off Campus and Gen V’s Stephen Kalyn joined the starry lineup as a character named Brock and Brittany Snow is joining as Marybeth.

In The Housemaid’s Secret, per a release, Millie “returns, taking a job keeping house for a woman she’s never allowed to see — only to discover the truth behind the locked door that threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.”

Though Nina’s story ends in the first book, Seyfried, 40, has previously said she would love to return to the role in a cameo.

The actress told Variety at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January, “I almost guarantee that I’m gonna be some small cameo in it. ... I really want to see how she keeps Nina Winchester in her pocket, because I will jump the f--- back into that.”
