Raygun is gunning for a new career after accepting a voluntary buyout from her university job in Australia.The Olympic breakdancer (real name: Rachael Gunn), who went viral for failing to receive a single point from judges at the 2024 Paris Games, is moving on from her job at Macquarie University in Sydney, where she lectured on media and cultural studies, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.“We need to have a serious conversation about higher education in this country,” Gunn, 38, told the Herald on Wednesday, April 29.She added, “I’m very worried for my colleagues. I don’t think that things are getting better for them.”On her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Gunn — who left her position in the Faculty of Arts in February — directed her fans to a website that shows she will now work as a public speaker.

“It’s official,” the former educator wrote on her Stories post.

According to the site, Gunn will offer her services at events, workshops and collaborations, “in-person or virtually, across Australia and internationally.”The athlete’s latest move comes nearly two years after she failed to get on the board during the first-ever breakdancing competition at an Olympics.
Her performance elicited widespread pushback and online hate in which critics alleged she had manipulated the selection process to represent Australia in the competition.Follow your favorite athletes on and off the field with PEOPLE's free sports newsletter — sign up now!“I didn’t realize that it would also open the door to so much hate which has frankly been pretty devastating,” she said on Instagram at the time. “While I went out there and I had fun, I did take it very seriously.”She continued, “I worked my butt off, preparing for the Olympics and I gave my all truly. I’m honored to have been a part of the Australian Olympic Team and to be part of breaking’s Olympic debut."
