"When Calls the Heart" stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are officially a family of three!

The Hallmark actors revealed in a June 23 People feature that Krakow, 41, gave birth to their first child, a daughter, in "early April."

"Our daughter has been the greatest gift, and we are loving getting to know her better with each passing day," Krakow and Rosenbaum, 39, said in a statement.

"We are loving our roles as parents, and it feels like being parents together has only deepened our partnership," they continued. "We are, however, a bit more tired, and Erin – who was a non-coffee drinker previously – has had a change of heart on the matter."

Two months into parenthood, the couple felt prepared for this new role due to their on-set experiences.

"Ben has gotten covered in oil, disaster makeup, or some other messy situation just about every season of 'When Calls the Heart' – which has probably been the best prep of all," Krakow said. "It's really true that you can never have too many burp cloths!"

The news comes a year after the duo tied the knot in a surprise social media announcement. They simply captioned the images with an infinity symbol.

Rosenbaum has played Mike Hickam, Hope Valley's former mayor, on "When Calls the Heart" since the show premiered in 2014. Meanwhile, Krakow portrays protagonist Elizabeth Thatcher, who leaves behind her privileged life to become a schoolteacher on the western frontier in a coal mining town in 1900s Canada.
